Planned capabilities. Accounting integrations open with MyEasyMarket's public launch on the Pro and Scale plans; this table comes from the same source as our product code.
AutoCount Cloud Accounting only (the desktop edition needs AutoCount's own bridge). Journal entries only. Pro and Scale plans.
Before you start
- Accounting integrations are built and open with MyEasyMarket's public launch, on the Pro and Scale plans.
- An AutoCount Cloud Accounting account book. AutoCount Accounting desktop is not supported yet; use the journal CSV download meanwhile.
- A user who can open Settings → API Keys in the Cloud Accounting web app.
- The account numbers you want to use: a clearing account per marketplace (or one for all), sales, shipping income, discounts, marketplace fees, your bank account, cost of goods sold and inventory.
- An owner or admin role in MyEasyMarket to connect. An accountant role can map accounts, preview, approve and retry.
Step by step
- In AutoCount Cloud Accounting, open Settings → API Keys and select Create API Key. Give it a description such as MyEasyMarket and allow at least the journal entry, account and company profile methods.
- Note your account book ID and copy the Key ID and the API Key.
- In MyEasyMarket, open MyEasyBilling → Accounting and select Connect AutoCount Cloud Accounting. Paste the three values and select Connect. MyEasyMarket checks them by reading your company profile.
- Open Account mapping, select Suggest from account names, check every line and save. Then open Sync & reconcile, check this month's journals and select Approve.
- The owner or an admin opens Settings and turns sending on. Approved journals go to AutoCount straight away, then every day.
After you connect
- One general journal entry per day and sales channel: order totals to the clearing account, sales, shipping charged and discounts, and cost of goods sold against inventory at the cost when each order was saved.
- One journal entry per day and marketplace for orders completed that day: commission, transaction and service fees, SST on fees, platform vouchers, and the payout to your bank.
- The document number is a readable reference such as MEM-261018-SSP; the note carries the LHDN e-invoice UUIDs of its orders.
- Sync & reconcile shows each day next to what is in AutoCount. A cancellation after a day was sent becomes an adjustment entry; sent entries are never edited.
- Entries AutoCount refuses wait in the error queue with its message and a Retry button.
Limits and good to know
- Built on AutoCount's Cloud Accounting Integration API (journal entries, account listing, company profile). Before each entry MyEasyMarket looks for its document number, so a retry never posts twice.
- Journal dates must fall in an open fiscal year in AutoCount.
- Days are Malaysian business days; amounts are in ringgit. Only MYR orders are journalised.
- Your API key is stored encrypted and deleted when you disconnect. You can also delete or regenerate it in AutoCount at any time.
Troubleshooting
| What you see | Why it happens | How to fix it |
|---|---|---|
| The connection shows Needs attentionauth_failed | The API key was deleted or regenerated, or it lacks permission for journal entries. | Check the key's permissions in Settings → API Keys, disconnect in MyEasyBilling → Accounting → Settings and connect again. |
| A line has no accountmapping_missing | The journal uses a line (for example commission) that is not mapped yet. | Map it in Account mapping, then select Retry in the error queue. |
| AutoCount refused an account numberinvalid_account | The account number does not exist, or is a parent or control account. | Choose another account in Account mapping, then Retry. |
| The date is outside the fiscal yearperiod_locked | The journal date is not in an open fiscal year in AutoCount. | Ask your accountant to open the fiscal year, then Retry. |
| Sending is delayedrate_limited | AutoCount's rate limit for your account book was reached. | Nothing to do: MyEasyMarket retries on its own. |
Reconnect, disconnect and your data
- New key? Disconnect in MyEasyBilling → Accounting → Settings and connect again with it. Mapping, approvals and history stay.
- To stop, turn sending off or disconnect. Entries already in AutoCount stay there.
